Begin slowly. Try one Dart or Arrow before adding Partnership Writing.

1. Start with: Dart or Arrow (click links to view book lists)
   

   Dart features books with gentle themes.
   Arrow features novels that showcase more life experience.

   Dart if your child…
   ✔ is reading
   ✔ has begun to handwrite

   Arrow if your child…
   ✔ knows how to read
   ✔ knows how to handwrite
   
   Each program includes ten month-long handbooks (full school year)

2. After a month, add Partnership Writing
   
   Select one of the ten writing projects to add to your routine. Continue for several months using Dart or Arrow and Partnership Writing projects each month.
   
   
3. In the second semester, add: The Writer’s Jungle (ages 9+)
   
   Take a break from Partnership Writing to teach the writing process from concept to draft to polished copy. Continue with Dart or Arrow at the same time. Return to Partnership Writing after completing the writing process in The Writer’s Jungle.
