Intuitive Homeschool Planning Tool

Plan for the Child You Love!

Do you plan each year on your calendar and then wonder why those plans fall apart?

Do you wish you knew how to bend the core subjects to your child's personality?

Are you interested in a plan flexible enough to grow, but clear enough to follow?

Good news!

You can plan for the real child you have and love.

The Intuitive Homeschool Planning Tool invites you to connect with your specific child using a variety of creative, strategic processes. You'll explore your child's

  • personality
  • passions
  • interests
  • strengths
  • joys

Then you'll take an inventory of your own personality and strengths, as well as your objectives and vision for the school year.

The exercises lead you through a unique planning process that keeps the child you love at the center, so your plans are more likely to be effective.

It is part planner and part workbook with a big Brave Learner twist of information to re-orient you to seeing your children—who they are and where they are—as you plan for their homeschooling.

These will be blended together to create a tailor-made homeschool plan that fits your specific family.

No more planning for the calendar over the student!

Instead:

  • Get to know your child as a learner
  • Plan the whole year
  • Include the core subjects that matter to you
  • Develop strategies that bring your student and learning together!

This tool takes you through key exercises that help you plan your year with your child primarily in mind.

Exercise 1: Trusting the Intuitive Mind

Discover who your child is with a process that involves drawing and perceiving. Get to know your child's personality from a whole new vantage point.

Exercise 2: Applying the Analytic Brain

Translate what you discover about your child into meaningful conclusions that will help you guide your student learner into greater success and satisfaction.

Exercise 3: Deepening Your Insight

Create a word collage or freewrite that allows you to weave together what you've learned about your child that will give you the framework for teaching throughout the next year.

Exercise 4: Developing a Vision

Now you get to bring your own ideas of what your homeschool can be into the picture. You'll establish a vision for how to work with each child's strengths and weaknesses while teaching them the core subjects and supporting their interests.

Exercise 5: Seeding Your Imagination

Next, you'll create the compost for all the school subjects—what strategies can you turn to to help your child learn math or science given all that you just learned about that child?

Exercise 6: Creating a Predictable Routine

The final step is to put all of these ideas together into a livable lifestyle that takes into account the months of the year and the seasons, as well as the day to day activities.

There are a slew of printables too: calendars, Bingo boards, and note pages to help you!

45 pages in length.
