High School Writers Bundle 2026-2027

Imagine a teenager who enjoys learning how to write essays. Thousands of our students over the last twenty-five years have told us exactly that—that they enjoy writing essays now. Our program is friendly and clear! See for yourself.      

In the High School Writer’s Bundle, we combine two programs to create a complete year's credit of English and writing.

1. An independent-study classroom with material written to and for your teens, to learn critical thinking and essay writing (Help for High School: Year One)

2. Nine PDF handbooks that pair with monthly novels (read aloud by you or read by your student—books can be purchased here). Discover the "not boring" way to teach literary analysis, grammar, and reading comprehension. (See book list on Boomerang page.)

The Boomerang features year-long, non-consumable PDF products. Issues are published once a month, beginning August 15, 2026.

Help for High School: Year One is available in our custom-designed classroom. Students access each module in our online classroom where they move through the material at their own pace, independently. They can post writing in the classroom and comment on the posts of other students working through the program alongside them. (There is no live instructor associated with independent study classes. Your teens move at their own pace and set deadlines that work for them!)

We show you how to put these materials together for a rich writing life! These tools can be used for more than one child at a time, particularly if close in age, and again with other children as they come of age.
